Still Writing

I lay with my lap top resting next to me while I write on my shinny new DeadJournal. Fear not, I shall still use this area for writing, just not kind of thing that actually goes into a journal. This space is a place to create, not a place to complain about first world issues like how cute that guy who walked into the shop yesterday was. Gorgeous!

Yes, No, Maybe So: How to Answer Yes or No Questions

Each day you're faced with questions. These questions could be small questions like whether or not you want to chew gum or big questions like what you want to be when/if you grow up. The only person whom can answer the latter is yourself but if you're looking for some help answering simple yes or no questions here is a handy guide to get you started.

Fuck yeah!: This response is given when one is excited about the question.

Example: Fuck yeah, I'll go sky diving with you!

Yes: Yes means yes, this is the most simple and direct way to answer yes.

Example: Yes, I really really really like you, let's go make out.

Yeah: Most of the time this response begins or ends with a sigh, the person answering kind of wants to answer no but also doesn't want to miss the opportunity.

Example: Yeah, I guess I'll go mow the law.

Sure: The person answering this question wants to say no but thinks it's more polite to say yes.
Example: Sure, I'll go to your grandmother's funeral.

No: As the polar opposite of yes, no always means no despite what popular culture has told us.

Example: No, I don't want to make sure you shaved your balls evenly.

Nope: A friendly version of no, not quite as forceful.

Example: Nope, he's a zombie; I think we have to kill him now...

Maybe: Contrary to popular belief maybe actually means no. The person answering the question is just being too polite to say no so they just answer maybe instead.

Example: I might go to the party... it's totally cool that you invited my ex and her new girlfriend...
